One of the highlights is the annual Ecumenical Vacation Bible School where the puppets provide inspirational programs that involve all the children.  Even the youngest can remember the motions of sign language of the songs.

Another highlight of the puppeteers is traveling to nursing homes in the Central Illinois area and providing a little cheer and spiritual blessings to the residents. They are always warmly received.

Besides visiting the nursing homes, the puppets perform at other special events around the area throughout the year.

Each year the Puppet Team sponsors a huge rummage sale to support the ministry of the puppet team for props, program and stage material. Watch for more details in the local papers regarding this event. Also check the Special Events page on this website.

February 29 through March 1, 2008, the puppet team will be going to Tinley Park for the Chicago Puppetry Festival where they will learn many new programs and stories to share.
